7. Request Procedure 

Requests must be submitted using Form C (available from the Information Regulator’s website) and sent to the Information Officer. 
Fees may apply as per PAIA regulations. 

8. Grounds for Refusal of Access 

Access may be refused if: 

  • It infringes on the privacy of third parties 
  • It contains confidential commercial information 
  • It is legally privileged 
  • It compromises the safety or security of individuals or property 

9. Remedies Available 

If access is refused, the requester may:

  • Lodge an internal appeal (if applicable) 
  • Submit a complaint to the Information Regulator 
  • Approach the courts
